PRAISE FOR OUR ENVIRONMENTAL LEADERSHIP
Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn and Park Tower’s environmental design consultant, Sarah Hickman, praised Park Tower for achieving its LEED EB Gold rating. Mayor Buckhorn says Park Tower’s strong commitment to energy savings is financially and morally the right thing to do.
Park Tower is a high performance building that is smart, connected, tenant friendly and flexible. Numerous upgrades have been made to the building’s energy infrastructure and mechanical systems that provide significant and proven control over our energy usage. For tenants, this means lower operating costs because energy costs are under control. We also reduced the environmental impact of our property on human health and the natural environment by implementing numerous sustainability policies and engaging tenants to use energy efficient appliances, purchase sustainable furniture, incorporate sustainable best practices, conserve energy and water and divert waste. We also improved the building’s recycling program, adopted a green cleaning program and reduced the environmental impact of every possible facet of our operations.
